First, determine your goal

A person must first determine their goal before they can make any plans to be successful. 

Once a desired goal is determined then and only then can you began to make plans to make your dream a reality.   

There is a process called visualization where a person sees their desired state in their mind, and as a result they began to actually believe their dream can come true.

In essence, once you believe, then you began to perceive the steps required to make your goal more than a dream a reality.
