A life’s purpose can seem to be hard to discover, but sometimes it just takes an examination of what you enjoy doing and why. If you enjoy public speaking, perhaps your life’s purpose to motivate and inspire others. If you like teaching, perhaps your purpose is to shape minds for the future. Scuba diving? Perhaps your purpose is to help explore the world underwater. The purpose is not as important as you living your purpose, whatever it might be to the fullest. After all, if it hurts no one, not illegal, immoral or unethical, why not live your purpose and have a life fulfilled instead of just living day to day dreading each sunrise and anxiously awaiting each sunset. Life is for the living and why not live life to the fullest by living a life of purpose on purpose. Everyone will face death at some point. There is a Facebook post with a quote by Hunter S. Thompson with the idea of skidding up to the grave, at the end of life and exclaiming “What A RIDE!” When your life is over, will you have that same sentiment, or will you say “If only I had a little more time”. No one knows how long we have, as few have expiration dates stamped on their body. With that being said, why not make the most of every second? Many people live a humdrum life of existence, where the most exciting part of the day is looking at the weather report. Don’t just exist, live and embrace each day as a new opportunity to live a purpose driven life of purpose on purpose!
